Refund policy
At The Breakup Brand, we care about people — not just packages. Our products are thoughtfully designed to help you (or your best friend) move forward, one sarcastic sock and heartbreak mug at a time. While we stand by the quality of what we ship, things happen. Here's how we handle refunds and replacements — with clarity, care, and a no-BS approach.
All Sales Are Final
Due to the personal and time-sensitive nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns for:
· Change of mind
· Incorrect orders placed by the customer
· Boxes that have been opened, used, or gifted
Please double-check your order and shipping information before checking out.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your product arrives damaged beyond use or if we ship the wrong item, we’ll make it right.
To request a replacement:
· Email us within 3 days of delivery
· Include your order number, a clear photo of the issue, and a brief description
Once approved, we’ll send you a replacement box at no extra cost. Damage must materially affect the use of the item (e.g., shattered mug, broken item). Minor cosmetic flaws or packaging imperfections do not qualify.
Refunds (When Applicable)
We only offer refunds in the following limited cases:
· Your order arrives damaged beyond use and cannot be replaced
· You were charged but did not receive your order (excluding errors in customer-provided addresses)
All refund requests must be made within 7 days of delivery and submitted through the site with your order details and reason. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Not Eligible for Refunds or Replacements
We are unable to process refunds or replacements if:
· Items have been used, opened, or altered
· You contact us after the stated 3- or 7-day windows
· The item has minor cosmetic damage from shipping
· The shipping address was incorrectly entered by the customer
· You simply no longer want the item (we get it, but we can't accept it back)

This policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy waives rights you may have under those laws. We reserve the right to update this policy at any time, with changes taking effect when posted.
